Ed Smoove is a DJ / Producer that has played at some of the world’s most legendary venues. He is a humble yet talented individual with a raw edged mixing style playing the best in Progressive / Vocal / Electro / Tech & Trance, usually all within the same set. A true journey DJ that loves to take audiences on a musical trip by crafting together tracks of varying styles and genres.

Starting out as a hip hop turntablist scratch DJ he soon progressed into the more popular more mainstream Dance music scene. Growing up being influenced by the club and rave scene in London as both a clubber and an upcoming DJ soon saw Ed secure a regular slot on London's Passion FM Live. With this began the snowball effect that has resulted in Ed's glowing DJ cv to date.

Playing for legendary parties Promised Land and Key Of Life at venues such as 02 Empire, SEOne Club and Egg he showed his ability to play old skool classic house 1989/90 sets on vinyl whilst being able to cut it up with the best of them playing brand new upfront progressive and electro house on cd's. At the same time he began to make regular appearances at Karma - featuring on the same line ups as high profile vocalists Tara McDonald, Katherine Ellis and Sheena.

Ed then began to secure some massive bookings playing for nights such as Defected, Toolroom, Release Yourself, Space, Together and Soul Heaven at either London's Ministry Of Sound, Pacha or 02 Academy. These events saw him feature on the same line ups as Candi Staton, Barbara Tucker, Julie McKnight, The Shapeshifters, Roger Sanchez, Louie Vega, Mark Knight, Fedde Funkagenda, Arno Cost, Katie B, Mark Ronson, Herve, Fake Blood. Ed has also been a major part of a highly successful set of London based parties called Playhouse, alongside friend and fellow DJ / Producer - Lucarelli. It was at this time he became involved with Sinners and co promoted a highly succesful party at Pacha London alongside friend and Sinners sumpremo - Matt James.

Whilst continuing to play on Passion FM Live and for Promised Land and Key Of Life, he also began to make yearly visits to the white isle of Eivissa = Ibiza. Last year saw him play at the legendary Space for We Love and at Bora Bora as well as Kanya for Bootleg Social.

New Year’s Eve 2011 saw Ed play at Full On Ferry at 02 Academy alongside trance legends Ferry Corsten, Dash Berlin, Judge Jules and Sied Van Riel. He recently played for Bootleg Social at Gallery - Ministry Of Sound alongside Hardwell, and upcoming on 29 April he will be playing alongside Umek and Carlo Lio at The Coronet. Whilst gearing up for another visit to Ibiza he has also secured a headline booking for the worldwide dance music institution that is Cream. Ed will be regularly playing for Cream Ibiza Tours at Pozition in Hull.

2012 sees Ed Smoove emerge as a credible and accomplished part of the dance music scene continuing to DJ live and also produce and release tracks. His three track releases to date being:-
